Basic Policy Regarding Personal Information

We state that as a company that plays a role in building the all-round lifestyle support service industry, we recognize that protecting your personal information is important and the directors through individual employees adhere to the regulations regarding personal information. Furthermore, due to the realization of our basic policy stated below, we’ve created a management system that complies with JISQ15001, we’re also focused on the ever-changing wishes of society, and the whole company will work toward protecting personal information, which includes continued improvement.

1. Gathering, Usage, and Providing Personal Information

When gathering personal information, it will be used specifically for business purposes through legal and fair means after written consent has been provided by the individual. If consent from the individual is obtained through means other than direct consent, the purpose of use will be disclosed in advance and the individual will be notified promptly.  Furthermore, gathered personal information will only be used and supplied within the boundaries of the purpose that was specified previously. Gathered personal information will not be used for purposes outside the specified boundaries and periodic checks will be implemented to ensure information is not used outside the specified purposes.

2. Laws Regarding Personal Information and Other Compliance Standards

We will work to protect personal information as per the requirements outlined in JISQ15001 (Personal Information Protection Management System), and comply with the laws regarding the handling of personal information, guidelines set down by the government, and other standards.

3. Risk Prevention and Correction of Personal Information

We will conduct audits and periodically revise our systems as well as taking reasonable measures to avoid non-compliance with laws and government guidelines, leakage, loss or libel of personal information, economic disadvantage, loss of social trust, and risk of adverse impact to the individual. We will also manage IDs and passwords, control access to the database and the database facility, construct a firewall, and thoroughly educate our employees on the importance of protecting personal information.

4. Continued Improvement of the Personal Information Protection Management System

To protect personal information, we have established our own management cycle based upon the Personal Information Protection Management System and we are continually improving it.

5. Complaints and Consultation

To respond to complaints, conduct consultations, and usage, deletion, revision, disclosure or cease disclosure (herein “disclosure”), we have created a “Personal Information Protection Consultation Center” to work towards solving problems. We confirm each customer’s identities before disclosure.
